''Goddess Hera'' Wool Dreadlock Accent Set
Named after the Greek Goddess Hera and handcrafted in my Yorkshire studio using 100% British wool, this vibrant accent set of 15 double-ended dreadlocks celebrates the rich, iridescent hues of the blue, green and gold of the stunning peacock feathers.
Each piece is carefully curated to bring texture, colour, and character to any hair type. They are suitable for people with or without dreadlocks. as the individual pieces can be braided into loose hair for a temporary look or pulled through the root base of your own natural locs.
Five of the pieces are wrapped in colourful threads, echoing the playful shimmer of plumage; five are adorned with bronze and gold-tone beads for a touch of warmth and movement; and one piece features three natural Tiger’s Eye crystals, known for their grounding energy and golden glow.

''Goddess Hera'' is closely associated with the peacock, a bird that became one of her most enduring symbols in Greek mythology. The connection comes from the story of Argus Panoptes, the hundred‑eyed guardian Hera entrusted to watch over Io. After Argus was slain, Hera honoured his loyalty by placing his many eyes upon the tail of the peacock, giving the bird its iconic shimmering “eyes.”
Because of this, the peacock came to embody Hera’s qualities:
